Key Responsibilities
- Contribute with an investor mindset in discussions around value creation, potential acquisitions, divestments, and integrations as they arise.
- Apply your own experience and background to support the company’s continued development and growth.
- Support and challenge the management team at a strategic level in realizing the value creation journey.
- Oversee the further development and implementation of the company’s future strategy, assessing activities and expansion opportunities in light of short- and long-term market conditions.
- Contribute to the quality of the Board’s work by offering constructive challenge, diverse perspectives, and maintaining focus on strategic issues and the business model.
- Possess the time, ability, and attitude necessary to operate effectively in the boardroom and contribute beyond your core areas of expertise.
- Leverage your professional and business network as appropriate, stay up to date on corporate governance matters, and provide advice or guidance when relevant.
Candidate Profile
The new Board Member will bring independence of mind, credibility to operate effectively at Board level, and strong business acumen.
The candidate should be able to contribute strategic insight across a broad range of topics in Board discussions and challenge constructively.
Experience with or exposure to private equity ownership is considered an advantage.
Ideal Experience and Competencies
- Industry Experience: Background from legal tech, legal services, or adjacent sectors where technology and professional services intersect. Alternatively, a lawyer with a solid understanding of technology-driven business models and digital transformation.
- Growth Experience: Demonstrated experience contributing to the growth or transformation of a business – not necessarily as CEO or P&L leader, but perhaps in senior functional, commercial, or product roles where execution and scaling were key.
- Strategic Skills: Strong analytical and strategic toolkit for evaluating and shaping strategic scenarios, strategies, and business plans.
Understanding of active ownership models is essential; PE compatibility is required, and prior PE experience is a clear advantage. - International Perspective: Familiarity with Nordic markets and mindset, reflecting the company’s footprint and growth ambitions.
- Board Experience: Previous non-executive board experience is valued but not essential; outstanding candidates without such experience will also be considered.
- Commitment and Enthusiasm: Genuine interest in the company’s growth journey and willingness to dedicate time and energy to understand the business and its key success factors.
- Integrity and Values: Impeccable personal integrity and values aligned with the company’s culture.

Candidates should be down-to-earth, open, and direct communicators with unquestioned integrity and independence.
